windshield scratches

I've had problems with wiper related scratches with original Audi glass on my TT and allroad. It's been just as bad and perhaps worse with replacement glass from Elite (Pilkington). Any suggestions as far as brands (I've heard PPG may be better) or installers in the Boulder/Denver area?
