"Brake" light flashes and beeping noise - What does it mean?

"Brake" light flashes and beeping noise - What does it mean?
This has happened about 3 times to me. It happens rarely (it's been about 3 months since I happened last) but I can't figure out what it means.
I get in my car, turn it on, get on the road and accelerate hard. The "Brake" light on the dash flashes along with 3 beeps. It's as if the eBrake is engaged but it is not (I'm sure). The light and noise go away after 3 beeps and that it, it doesn't happen again.
Any thoughts?
