All Season tires on roadster?

All Season tires on roadster?
I bought a 2005 TT roadster a few nights ago. It was cold and dark outside and I couldn't really see the tires. Well they are the 17" Dunlop SP Sport 9090 tires. The thing is I really wanted to have 18" wheels and tires for summertime and 17" wheels and tires for wintertime.
I am going to insist that they swap the Dunlops for some all-season tires because they told me that the car had all season tires on it before I bought it.
What is a good all season tire for this car? In Washington DC we get a fair amount of snow but I think all seasons would be better than snow tires because sometimes weeks go by without any snow at all being on the ground.
Advice?

Nokian WRs for winter, they are actually all seasons, but
if you want a true all seasons tire, the Perilli Pzero Nero M&S is a pretty good choice for a nice price - about $120 in 17" I'm guessing.
Like I said, I have the WRs for my winter setup. They grip like mad and ride nice. The Perilli M&S were probably better overall performers for the dry but no where near the snow performance of the WRs.

Hey, I have some Nokian WR 235/45/R17 tires from my Audi S4. Do you think they would fit on some of the RS4 replica wheels that Achtuning sells?

not sure.... need the width of the RS4 reps, if they are 8.0
I think you are OK. If you google around a bit, I'm sure you can find a site with what width tires fit certain wheel sizes.
That said, 235 is getting a bit wide for snows. But you may be OK in DC, there's not a ton of snow there....
