Default I cleaned the throttle valve today on the TT...>>

After 83,000 miles and 6 years, it was time.

Process took less than an hour. I aligned the throttle valve using the VAG-COM afterwards.<ul><li><a href="http://public.fotki.com/RoberTT/maintenance/throttle_body_cleaning/">Instructions and snaps here...</a></li></ul>

Default Hey Robert Do you have the oil catch can installed.......?
I was wondering because I know Steve Swing has one installed. I tried to follow his installations pics, but did not have any luck. Even my car with only 34K on it, there was a bit of build up on the Throttle body.

No I haven't installed one yet. The TB was dirty but not that dirty.

Cleaning is not hard. 1 can of CRC about $4 and 45 minutes.
