Window problem
Well my driver's side window started acting up. It still had the one touch feature activated, but when the door was opened, it either would not roll down 1/4 inch or it would roll down, then right back up.
I messed around with the door latch mechanism and found that if I pulled the handle but held the door in the latch still, it functioned as advertised. As soon as I opened the door out of the latch, it rolled back up to the stop. I am not sure if it healed itself, or if cleaning/lubing it helped, but it is working normally right now. Anybody else have this issue? I didn't see it when I searched.

Great news!!! You fixed it!!! If it happens again,
one thing that seems to have worked in the past is to do a hard rest. That is, disconnect teh battery for about 15 minutes. That also seems to clear it up.
FWIW, if you had a VAG COM, I suspect there might be code that has been thrown.

I had a similar issue with my 2001 TT QC
the window rolled down fine, but when I tried to put it up it would only roll up leaving a 3" opening. I was like "what the hell? hopefully it won't rain" I restarted the car, and that fixed it. It hasn't come up again since..knock on wood.
