question for you wheel/suspension guys...

if I run 8.5 inch wheels with stock suspension but a 20mm spacer, will that be too wide? thanks in advance!

Totally depends on the wheel. As mentioned, the ET or offset will determine that.

I am basically looking to see if I can fit these on the TT with 5X112 adaptors.8.5J x 18 ET 20

sorry, the thinnest adapter available is 20mm's thick... you'll wind up at et=zero

and "out" past the fenders

Yes. Offset calculator, front will be 22mm outside fender edge and rear will be 16 mm outside.&

Do search for offset calculator and check it yourself.

It will not work.

Only if offset is less than 40mm.
