help with fuel issues
I have a 01 225. Its chiped and ive dont alot of tunning with lemmiwinks. Problem i keep running upon is that with stock injectors, i cant turn up the fuel, even with a 4 bar FPR.
How we have thought that maybe i was just asking to much from the injectors, so i bought some green tops. Now heres my issue. anything over 15 psi, i hear knock. So i put back in the stock injectors... same thing!
Ive checked my check valves. Ive presure tested my system and everything is fine. Now i havent changed my fuel filter since ive had it, or unless audi does it, i dont know. So thats the next thing im changing, even tho i use 92 and up for fuel.
So any ideas will help tons. I am misfiring in one cylinder, but its like every 7-8 seconds that shows up on vag.
So again, any thoughts?? im very tempted to replace the fuel pump since it use to make noises, a clunk clunk when i was stoped

If you hear knock, knock down the timing. Our injectors are good for 300hp at 3 bar.
Dowsing the system with fuel will just cause you more issues as the ECU continues to pull back and your cats call it quits

Hmmm, that doesn't sound like knocking in my book. Do you hear it from a low rpm acceleration?
It would be almost impossible to hear mid to high RPM knocking. So for that, you'll have to see what the knock control blocks are telling you. Log Block 20 and see if there is any timing pull back on one or all cylinders.
Pulling back fuel is probably related to what I was describing earlier. Your O2 is doused with raw fuel, and is sending back high voltages to the ECU to call it quits.
Maybe you are just hearing either a boost leak or some other leak, or exhaust rattle. You should hear knock at the engine block and not the exhaust.
