anyone contacted ecs tuning regarding credit card # theft claims?

FWIW, I had two fradulent charges on one of my cards a while back...

I don't think it was related to ECS. It was some bogus internet company in South Africa. When I asked the customer service rep if I should cancel the card or change the account over, he said "There are so many ways for them to get your credit card number. Just keep an eye on the account and if it happens again we might want to think about issuing you a new account." I do my best to protect myself from that stuff, but you wouldn't believe all the stuff that's flying around in cyberspace. All you can really do is keep an eye on it. I never use my check card or anything that's tied to a cash balance on the internet.

I had about $400 worth of fraudulent money transfers through an internet company..........

credit card company called right away to check on it. They issued a new card and cancelled the account. No problem, no charges, no paperwork, the credit card companies are staying on top of it.
