Best Video Head Unit
Those of you who have video in the car, can you make a recommendation for the best set up. I am thinking Alpine because of the iPod integration, but I am open to pretty much anything. Thanks.

I have Alpine IVA D900 - Outstanding Screen - But TT Radio Flap will not close.......
Alpines newer units may not have this problem. I can slide unit far enough back to where I think I could get flap door to close, but then screen will hit vents, even when extended, and not be fully open.
I have iPod, XM, DVD, and GPS, plus ability to add xbox, backup camera, radio mute, television, and now possibly bluetooth integration. I know the newer Alpine units have a module that integrate bluetooth.
I removed the CD player and then you have room to mount lots of stuff there and also on the other side where the medical kit is located.
There are other nice brands out there, but the screen on this unit is just awesome.

Re: What ipod adaptors are people using? On my old A4, I had an adaptor hooking it to the headunit
The alpine head units have the cable that plugs right into them and allows you to use more than the 6 playlist limitation that the icelink and other cables have. Most Alpine units allow you to browse your iPod for artists/albums whatever. Big improvement in my mind.
