Anyone with an infinity bass link?

I was going to go use my employee discount at best buy on one. it would only be 180 installed and I figured it would round out the sound on the bose system a little bit, and they are quite compact for a 200w 10 inch sub/amp combo.

Had one in my old Jetta - nice sounding unit depending on what you listen to

Not gonna do the deep deep bass but is fine for most rock, reggae etc.

Cool.... I'm going to go grab one.

I listen to a lot of metal, the bose system is a great full range system but I think it lacks a lot of low end depth. The self containment is quite appealing as well. I will let you all know how it goes, I may pick up a Passport 8500 today too. Ahhh, employee discounts are awesome.

I sort of switched plans, I was doing the chip today, but my car is already fast for what it is, and I have nothing to prove so... I'm going for things that I can actually use without getting in trouble (tickets)

Soon though, the chip will come... after the 8500 that is

I don't trust my foot.

I lied...

I got an alpine type R 10 inch sub and a 400w mono alpine amp.

The bass link sounded like poo.

Well - compared to a 400 watt setup i'm not surprised.......

other setups will make a 10" sound like poo too :-)

I put one in mine...be careful though...

Do not let them use speaker level inputs to hook up your Bose deck to the basslink. It will sound horrible. They need to tap into the preamp out that is routed to the Bose amp. I found the best place to do this was at the amp located just behind the passenger door on the coupe.

I had mine hooked up on the speaker level inputs for about 2 days,then had to make the switch.
