Not starting up on the first try
It seems whenever I get down to about 1/3 of a tank of gas, my car will just turn over and won't start. If it does, it will stall within a second.
Then the second time I turn the key, it always starts right up. It's been doing this for quite some time, I just never got around to asking about it. Any idea what this could be? Fuel pump? Fuel injectors?

Sure it isn't battery?
Could be the senders or maybe fuel filter.
Do you wait for the senders to prime the fuel system when you first get in the car? You can hear them send a bit of fuel, make sure you wait that second or two before starting.

Or even with the wait. I can turn it to On in mine, wait several secs, & it still won't start.
It's gotten progressively worse, the point at which it happens continues to get higher. I keep meaning to replace the fuel filter to see if that helps.

When does the car send the bit of fuel?
Does it know when I get in the car, or is it when I put the key in the ignition?
Also, what the hell is the point of this "feature"?
