I did the haldex filter and oil change but I spilt at least half of it. What should I do?

I did the haldex filter and oil change but I spilt at least half of it. What should I do?

Should I leave teh car or can I drive it to the shop to get it on the lift to put more oil in it? I say the lift bc I couldnt get the car high enought for chalking gun to be perpendicular with respect to the underside of the car. So I was thinking I should disconnect the haldex and then drive to the shop and Drain the oil that is in there an put in a new bottle properly. Is it okay to drive the car with the haldex disconnected?

You should be ok for a short distance. Drive conservatively. Even with the fuse out, the Haldex is

rotating, so get her done ASAP.

If you got half in, it should be OK. It is designed to spill some.

Get another bottle and try it again. There are easy solutions to pumping in the fluid, one of which is to use a short piece of plastic tubing over the nozzle to allow you to work the caulk gun at an angle.
