Default Poor Brittney Spears... Quick question:

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/88983/jackstandpoint.jpg"></center><p>I'm doing more important things than watching stupid tele interviews tonight.

Can I leave the car up on the jack stands using the rear/inward control arms? For say 24-48 hours?

TIA!

Default i dont see why not. I left epuffys car on stands there over night and out in my drive way

no problems the next day, so i dont know why you might worry, unless some one wanted to try to tip your car over lol

Default Nah, it's in the garage. I was just worried about the pressure...

Man, I love the way your car looks every time I see it. You should post more pictures. )

Why not just go to the frame?

Default I read that it might crumple the rails...plus it was easy to find the control arms. I'm not very

adept at locating parts on cars that look like other parts. I hope it's okay like this for a day or so...

Default when on jack stands>>>

i lift the car on the "psuedo" frame rail on the inside of the donut, with a piece of 2X4 between the jack and the rail. Then use the rubber donut for the jackstand.....or lift at the audi recommend jack points....

I do not like to put any weight on the control arms like that as it is focused, not spread across the length and breadth of the arm...
