Buzzing from dashboard when on throttle under 2k RPM
Just picked up a TT the other day and I notice when I'm under 2k RPM and give it some throttle, the dashbaord area starts to "buzz" or vibrate. After 2k RPM it is gone. Is this something that is normal? Maybe one of the motor mounts needs to be replaced (although the car only has 32k miles on it and is a 2004). It's not a faint buzzing... my passenger even noticed it just now.

mine does the same thing.. there's an exhaust resonance around that range that makes things buzz
only mines at around 2300...
try downshifting to get the rpms up so you arn't cruising under 2k.... I find the car likes to stay around 2500rpms

This isn't an exhaust resonance vibration...
This is a straight vibration from the engine that occurs from 1500 RPM to 2000 RPM. It is too pronounced to be from exhaust resonances.
I have been driving VR6s in the past, and I forget the 1.8T doesn't have the grunt down there, and I am used to crusing in 6th at 35 MPH... can't do that anymore.
