Exhaust smell in the cabin, Boost not holding correctly.

Exhaust smell in the cabin, Boost not holding correctly.
The TT went in for an oil change at the dealership last week Tue. Hopfully this problem is un-related.
Wed. Morning on my way to work I was stopped at a stop light and noticed the smell of exhaust in the cabin...to the point that I had to roll down the window.
Today the car will peak at 15psi but then drop to under 7psi (225, boost machine, stock ecu,) at anything over 4500 rpm. I turned off (down,) the BM when I got home; see what happens on the way to work tomorrow.
I'm suspecting that the exhaust leak is the joint between the down pipe and the Cats, but I just wanted to run it by everyone to see if there is a known failure point or anything.

You'd probably hear an exhaust leak...
Pre turbo-manifold leak will smell and loose boost. This is rare in a stock set-up.
Running rich will smell like gas and cause the ECU to shut down at higher RPM's. I'd pull and check the plugs first. Good luck.

Update from this morning....
With the boost machine turned off the boost peaks at 14 and hold 12, dropping to 11ish at higher RPMs (Normal behavior.) So I don't think it's a boost leak.

Same problem here, the cause...
A bunch of broken studs...Turbo to curved transitional downpipe. Broke off In the turbo. Its at my guy right now geting them all replaced with new gaskets as we speak. What a crackwhore!
