Custom Exhaust Questions
When it comes down to purchasing a custom exhaust, what are the advantages of stainless steel and mandel-bent piping? Better sound and better flow?
Furthermore, does eliminiating the resonator produce droning, or is the dependant on the diameter of the piping? (Is there an exhaust FAQ?)
BTW-- I did STFA.

couple of answers...
stainless won't rust, that's pretty much the only advantage. Mandrel bending keeps the pipe from being pinched in the bending process and makes it flow better. I think the resonator/muffler combination is ultimately what will determine sound and droning. Unfortunately for custom stuff, its just an educated guess until you get it on there.
