Need help!!! ABS controller needs firmware reloaded

I have a memory error in my ABS controller and I've been instructed to reload the firmware. Supposedly my unit has flash memory and the software can be reloaded? The fault code is 65535. The unit has already been repaired by module master and still not working. The car is a 2000 TT. Any advice on this topic would be appreciated, thanks!!

I don't believe the ABS unit is user-serviceable. Not even sure if the dealer can do it. Who

suggested this was DIY?
