Need help Recoding ABS Module?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Select ABS Module
Select Login/Coding - 11
Enter my Login id= 06297
Do it... accepted
Select Coding - 07
Entered my old Software Code value= 0007597
WSC= 12345
Importer= 444 (I think 000 also works?)
Do it... accepted
Select Measuring Blocks
Display Block 05
Turn steering wheel until it is centered and reading 0.0 degrees
Go Back
Select Login/Coding - 11
Enter the Steering Angle Login id= 40168
Do it... accepted
Select Basic Settings
Select Calibrate Steering Angle Sensor
Go...
Done!
Please note the Login Id and the Software Coding values that put in apply directly to my car. There is a page on the Ross-Tech wiki under: A8 (4E) / Brake Electronics / Login... that explains how to get the correct values for your car. Or do what I did and save the Software Coding from a previous VCDS Log file. The coding value is displayed under the ABS Module. You can then reverse engineer the Login value as they set values based on car model, brake size, engine size, gas/deisel sort of thing.
Hope this helps!
