tt lost power getting on highway
I was pulling out of a parking lot and the on ramp was right there so I acc. playfully in 1st. When I went to shift to 2nd I heard a sound like when you vacuum but then something covers the vacuum, that sound. Then my gas pedal wouldn't respond. The car was still idling, radio still on, had power steering, and the EPC light and anti-slip regulation light came on. Does anyone know what this might be, and thanks for trying.

Sounds like you had an over boost issue, Vag-com it, You in dallas right?
If you are and dont have a Vag, call carson on Monday at MS performance 2147837480. he'll help you out. btw have you restarted the car yet? try it, if its runs fine, most likely its a boost issue. you've been chipped right?

Sounds like you hit Limp .....>
Soft limp is temporary (unless there is an underlying problem). Could be from a Boost spike, Bad MAF or Temp sensor...Lots of things will cause the Boost to shut down if the ECU isn't getting the info it expects..
