Nuther' test drive in an aviator gray TT today...>>>
pretty nice car. It drove nice. Few things I did not like however: It had a nice big crack in the front spoiler, and an aftermarket radio. It was otherwise clean with 32k. Asking price is 18k. I drove it down the street and just looking around, and I saw a car that I just love...a BMW Z3 Coupe 3.0. It's a 01' with 55k, straight six with 225 horsepower and 2900lbs. Rear wheel drive, electronic stability, nice wheels and rubber. No heated seats I believe, but nice Harmon Kardon stereo, sunroof, plenty of space for my guitar amps, gear, and roof rack mounts(like on the TT)for a bicycle rack. This is critical, and wouldn't settle for any other car without the ability to transport the bike(glad I didn't make any offers on the S200). And to top it off, this car hauls ***! Publications say 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. The car is stock, and surely some mods will make it mo' bettah! The thing that really grabbed my attention though is the rear wheel drive. Geez, the car is a blast to drive. No front end weight bias whatsoever. This is one thing that has always irked me with the TT. I always feel the front end do too much of the work, and it's annoying at times.
So I will likely have my VTDA and boost machine for sale soon. I have a set of OEM wheels that I will part with also with TOYO Proxes rubber.
