Default Nuther' test drive in an aviator gray TT today...>>>

pretty nice car. It drove nice. Few things I did not like however: It had a nice big crack in the front spoiler, and an aftermarket radio. It was otherwise clean with 32k. Asking price is 18k. I drove it down the street and just looking around, and I saw a car that I just love...a BMW Z3 Coupe 3.0. It's a 01' with 55k, straight six with 225 horsepower and 2900lbs. Rear wheel drive, electronic stability, nice wheels and rubber. No heated seats I believe, but nice Harmon Kardon stereo, sunroof, plenty of space for my guitar amps, gear, and roof rack mounts(like on the TT)for a bicycle rack. This is critical, and wouldn't settle for any other car without the ability to transport the bike(glad I didn't make any offers on the S200). And to top it off, this car hauls ***! Publications say 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. The car is stock, and surely some mods will make it mo' bettah! The thing that really grabbed my attention though is the rear wheel drive. Geez, the car is a blast to drive. No front end weight bias whatsoever. This is one thing that has always irked me with the TT. I always feel the front end do too much of the work, and it's annoying at times.

So I will likely have my VTDA and boost machine for sale soon. I have a set of OEM wheels that I will part with also with TOYO Proxes rubber.

Default automatic? Yeah, I know, it was still a blast non-the-less....

and actually, I'm somewhat getting to the point where "not driving a stick" would be fun. Again, this car hauls butt! It is tip-tronic, so I could always fake the shifting! LOL!

The M Coupe is a nice ride. The M-R is a bit twitchy for me.

Default different is correct....>>>

and so is the TT, and that is a good thing. I always want to drive something that is set apart from the mundane box like car (honda,lexus,etc...). The Z3 Coupe hedges toward the uniqueness of the TT. The Z3 is faster and handles better, but the lines are unique all to their own, but not quite the revolutionary design of the TT that will last a millenium or two.

Is that Z3 recent Steve?

Default The TT is different and beautiful, the Z3 Coupe is different and ugly

Sorry guys there's just no getting around it. My brother owns a Z3 M coupe and it runs great, handles well, etc. but it is ugly just as the Aztec is ugly. When the emperor is not wearing clothes.......
