Optima 35 was a drop in, no-mods, for me

Isn't there a R (or L) designation somewhere in the descriptor? I seem to recall that...

There was a 34R but it was replaced with the 35

I couldn't get the Optima to work for me

Either that or I couldn't find the right one. It was some issue with the polarity of the posts reversed.

Got a Duralast Gold from Autozone, no issues whatsoever.

Glen, i had a 34R in...but wanted a deep charge yellow top. i ended up with a newer

yellow top, i think it was a 75 or something like that, but it fit fine although the battery terminals were reversed...so i just flipped the battery around and it fit fine...even with my DV relocation.

BTW, i took out all my battery cover and surrounding battery casing...the Optima's aren't affected by heat as much as regular car batteries (different construction).
