Default 3 battery PSAs

1) If your battery drains once, it's on its way out.
2) The MBTA will not let you on the train with a car battery. Boston residents plan accordingly.
3) Autozone carries a direct fit replacement, with vent tube, for around $65.

I considered the Optima battery, but they don't seem to make one that's a reasonable fit, and I didn't feel like fabricating a bracket to hold the battery sideways.

One more PSA: it's really f**king hot out today.

Default one of the techs here at work just agreed to help me recharge my AC after work

I have never been so happy about the prospect of getting worse gas mileage. Oh, it will also cost me $12 for refrigerant, plus a couple beers or a couple bucks for tip

Default good deal...

It stands to reason that at highway speeds the AC load might be balanced out by the lower drag of closed windows...

It hit 108 here today, and when it subsides everywhere else...it'll still be 100 here in September.
