Is this the headlight ballast?
Upon changing my battery for the first time, I now discovered that one of my ttda tubes that I shoved underneath the headlight was actually tucked into a dead-end.
I think the location of the ballast changed per model year?
Ignitor is similar in design to a flouresent tube ignitor, commomly called a "ballast" that smooths out voltages.
the Xenon needs to fire at 2000 volts or so to start, then it settles to 85V to drive the lamps
