You don't know how much I wish I could make that happen...

But the freelance market has been dreadful this year in Cincinnati (several of the biggest production/rental houses have had some of their worst months on record).

Add to that the fact that our lil' kitty was recently diagnosed with lymphoma (exploratory surgery to determine that cost more than I'd care to admit) and that we don't know whether or not we'll be moving soon (which would be fine, but I'll have to wait until December to sell our house to avoid a huge tax hit, and that might mean either two mortgages or a mortgage and rent payment for a while...), and well, I'm pretty well boned.

There are a few additional factors as well, but yeah... That's where it sits at the moment. =(
