I had the chance to head out to the Mid-Ohio Track a few weekends ago to spend some good old quality father/son time with my dad (i'm only 25 but I try to take advantage of it every chance I can). I don't think I could have asked for a better weekend. It was a full 3 days of racing with the SPEED World GT/Touring cars, Porsche GT3 Challenge, American LeMans Series, IRL Indy racing...pretty much everything! Here's just a few of the shots from over the weekend. Well worth the cost of admission.

Please be advised, there is some non-audi/non-VAG content, but it seems that GM content has become a little more acceptable around here as of late! Mr. Schwing...you might enjoy a few of the pics. GM's racing team has become my other car love. The C6R's were monsters, it's always great to see some good ol' American muscle (completely dominate the Ferrari's)! Please excuse the photo of my dad with Andy and Lawson. They were some great guys and excellent racers. I could definitely see a CTS-V in the future (I might hold off till the '09's come out with a speculated 600hp awd system), I think it's a pretty cool sleeper car (with the LS2 currently). The R10's were amazing to see race in person, I recommend that every Audi fan should try to see them at least once. Stasis put on a great show, Chip put up a great battle with the Bimmerworld car. I even got to see my second R8 in person, man that thing sounded great!
