#1 coil pack went today . . . . at 85K miles.

As breakdowns go, not too bad. Finished my business in town this morning, limped the car 30 miles to dealer staying between 2500-3000 rpm, where it seemed the smoothest. Parts and labor $180. Car wash $0. Just waiting for car now.

$180 for 1 coil pack???? >>>

Keep a spare in the trunk like everyone else. $30, 5 min repair on the side of the road.

Driving with a bad coil pack can ruin your cat.

coulda got 4 brand new ones for a buck twenty

cause you know something...the others are soon to follow that one in my experience

I've still never used any.
