Update red TT-R:

- plenty of fuel (known 5g in tank)
- multiple cylinder misfires, C3 and C4 misfiring (per VAG-Com)

I say bring it in.

Fuel in the tank doesn't mean it's getting to the engine. The fuel filter could be clogged, the fuel pump can be failing, the fpr could be bad, etc. If the misfires aren't due to lack of fuel it could be bad plugs, bad coil packs/harness. Also check if the air filter clogged or has a mouse nest in it or something.

He didn't "list" the codes, just those named, and I'll have him check all the obvious.

Interesting thing is that it drove well from LI, NY to here. I suspect we'd have seen a degrade (obstruction, filter) earlier. But we'll chase each idea down.

The codes I can read, but diagnosing the ROOT CAUSE is the fun part.

A couple more I just thought of >>>

Both of these happened to me

One of the times my MAF went the car would either barely run, run then stall, or not start at all (although there should be codes stored if this were the case).

Same symptoms one of the times my intercooler hose blew off, except for the not starting.

Unplugging the maf in both cases caused the car to work again, in one of the cases I think I had to clear the codes after unplugging it. It's something else to try.
