Connection between misfire and low fuel level
Does anyone know what is the connection between misfire and low fuel level in the tank.
The other day i had fuel around 30% of tank.Car ran for 2 miles and then on the parking lot it died and didnt want to start.Added 2 gallons of fuel and it started and ran good and still runs good(added 15.5 gallons plus 2 from the canister so it had around 6 gallons inside the tank)
Iv had misfire on 2 cylinders before but check engine didnt came on.
Same thing happened 2 months ago and i replaced fuel pump thinking this is gone.
Obviously it wasnt the fuel pump.
Now waiting for ignition coils to replace them along with spark plugs and see if ill still have misfire.
Possible fuel filter clog maybe?
Anyone had similar situation?
