Quick question on a rattle - and a PBR Ceramics comment or two:
I have what sounds like a chain or tool rattling on a hard square impact at speed(drivers front). I've looked at all the suspension things when doing the pads a few weeks back and everything is tight and pretty sound looking. Could the rattle be the tranny linkage maybe? TOBearing or something in the bellhousing? This clutch has a little play in it, nothing bad, actuates fine, but it is not clearance free like the one on my B5 car(may be a trait of the tranny/clutch type)... curious what may rattle down there. Will go digging this week I guess, wanted to see if some of the folks here had ideas first.
On the PBR Ceramics, pads work better than stockers(good) but dust almost the same(bad) which is the reason I bought them, less/lighter dusting... oh well. Won't need pads or rotors hopefully for a while.
