I found a displaced plug while attempted to bleed the clutch. Any advice?
The transmission? The hole looked clean. I didn't see any evidence of fluid sloshing around.
The plug has a raised loop as a grip. The hole it plugs is about 3/4" in diameter.
Any suggestions? Replace and forget?
Replace the transmission fluid just to be sure? Redline MT-90?
Something else entirely?
Oh, and what are you guys removing to get better access to the clutch bleed nipple? I gave up. I do not have elfin hands.
Thanks
MT-90 is good...
Skip the Nip...Don't aggravate what could be a costly problem...:-)
