washed car today, for a while the pop up fuel lid and the "trunk" lid
would not respond to the interior buttons. I used the manual release for the fuel lid, got gas, and after a few miles driving, things started working again...a short from water? Anyone else experience this?

Yes I have... usually after the battery had died though...
I had to arm and disarm the car with the remote. Then hit the trunk button and it came open... security feature...

This happened to me twice >>
Both times after the battery died on me (still have to figure out why when the weather's warmer and my apt. complex decides to plow!)....eventually it would just start working again.
It never stopped working for any other reason.
