Found out at the gas station that neither the fuel flap nor the trunk would open using the key fob remote. Manually opened them all so at least I got gas. Much to my surprise both of them opened and closed fine later in the day and I have played around with and it's fairly consistent. If my understand is correct it a common vacuum motor for both of them and it sound like it's on its way out. If this is correct, where is it located e.g how do I get to it?

Got my ElsaWin and find out to my surprice that there is no more vacuum operated locks, all electrical. One thing in the repair manual confused me and it says "Actuators of fuel filler flap and rear lid has one motor each and connot be replaced individually." Anyone been there and could give some insight into this?
