Went for drive, made it up to 80.... no vibrations
We've seen spacers cause lateral runout.. not perceptible as a "vibration", but enough to cause the loss of a cars steering precision...
"it just doesn't turn in as crisply" "I'm never sure where the car is going" "constant correction is required" etc...
By rotating the tie rods an equal amount side to side you can move to toe in or toe out. Start by rotating each side 1/2 turn IN and see how it feels. This will be about 1/16th total both sides. Just loosen the locknut, adjust and re-tighten. Takes but a minute. Take notes, don't confuse rotations. YOu're pushing the back of the wheel OUT to toe in, IN to toe out.
Toe plates make it easy, but not necessary if you keep track of where you are at the start and adjust each side the same.
