Just when I get over the shock of the dealers flyer offering Nitrogen for $55.. I get this..

A flyer from the local Lexus dealer (used to have a Lexus and must still be on their mailing list)....

They are offering Nitrogen service for $75..on sale for $55... Stating it will 'dramatically improve mileage and incrase the life of your tires by 25%! among other significantly exagerated hype.

I know the service is good.. but are they trying to recoup the cost of the machine in like 2 months? LOL

Since costco offers it for free with a tire purchase. I am just used to the service without paying extra for it.. just shocking..not only the price .. but the exagerated hype.

My dry cleaning machines use nitrogen for fire protection.

I have a bottle delivered to each every 2 years or so. Stuff is cheap. All one would need is a rented bottle, and a regulator. They better make their money quick. If it has real improvement value, then everybody will offer it soon. Cheaper.

I thought only if you get tires there?

They don't just fill em up if you roll in do they?

I'll give you a 78% nitrogen fill for only 50% of that price!

Yes when you get tires there. They generally have great tire prices and free nitrogen. Great value

Have had 2 sets of tires done at Costco for the TT (and many other cars). They (at least my local store) has great techs and good install procedures (no touch machines, and only select techs are allowed to torque your lugnuts by hand, etc).

but yes, free nitrogen (well included in the mount/balance/road hazard price) assuming you bought the tires there.
