you don't need pistons?

normally the valves run into the pistons, i'd have that checked.

Pistons were never mentioned. Would the pistons be part of the loaded head package?

But the pistons had to hit (they are the moving parts) or be hit to ruin the head.

Seems that the pistons often survive the valve strike. They are forged and tough.

Wonder what percentage of the TB breaks get mentioned here? I would expect that it is a small portion of the total. There must be several breaking every week in the US alone. My belt and peripherals was replaced only 10,000 miles ago and it still makes me nervous. Repeat after me---- no more interference engines---- no more interference engines :-)
