Mysterious Cover Button
This past weekend, while vacuuming out the interior, I ran across two silver-colored buttons, precisely 15/16" in diameter, which looks like they're supposed to cover an opening. They are plastic, with a chrome finish on them, and have the reqauisite 8 dimples in them that all the other instruments, gear shift bezel, air vents, etc. have. But they are solid, with no holes in the middle.
In fact they look like the inside door handles, but much smaller. They are smaller than the diameter of the five buttons atop the radio, but larger than the buttons at the pivot-end of the instrument sweeps.
Finally, there seems to be no opening into which these fit in the interior space.
Anybody have any idea where they might go?
