was talking to a bmw guy yesterday...
about driving schools and he mentioned he had just come back from tech inspection, but his event is not for another 2 weeks. he said they do it that way so you have time to fix whatever's wrong, but my thinking was that a lot can happen in 2 weeks, so if you tech fine and then have something break in those 2 weeks, it might not get caught before the event.
i told him audi events are usually setup to do tech the day before the event and he thought that was weird. i said it was because those damn bmw's are always broken and they need lots of time to fix them.
how is it done in most other clubs? instructors for the audi club, how often do you guys actually find stuff wrong with cars that come in?
