Drove a buncha amg's (CLS55, E55, SL55, CLK55, SLK55) on the north track and on a small autox setup in the parking lot. Just another MB sponsored event except just amg models to drive and much less crowds (only 8 people in my group)

Fun stuff but for $400 for not even a full day was so not worth it in comparison to next month's ACCCCCCCC event. If anything it was just worth it to be able to tear around in someone else's cars without the fear of making an expensive mistake.

My instructor was former champ car racer Jeff Andretti (Mario's youngest son). Here's a video of a hot lap with him at the wheel of a CLK55. Excuse the poor quality digicam movie mode clip and the fact that I couldn't hold it still but most of you have been on the north course and know what's going on... yep, I'd say his line was much better than mine

btw, I think I'm selling my SLK55... anyone know someone that might be interested? I'm selling relatively cheap since summer is over and I have no use for a convertible and I want something different, like a real car with 4 doors.
