Alarming amount of accidents due to people blowing the lights. Question...
are you more careful coming to intersections these days? Do you mentally cover your brake pedal when coming to intersections, more so at nite than in the daytime? I know I'm starting too. I've seen way too many accidents caused by meatheads blowing thru traffic lites.

I figured it might have had something to do with the people that watch the timers on the
walk signs and figure out how quickly they can hustle through an intersection without regard for safety to just beat a light. I think they are a bad idea and the city keeps adding them. Way too many irresponsible people pay attention to them and not the car turning in front of them or the pedestrian crossing or the bicycle or the motorcycle. Dangerous.

I don't run any or jump at a light without looking both ways. Watched a semi
blow through an intersection on red after the first car at the now green light went and before my Dad who was driving pulled into the intersection as the second car in line. Scary.

Way more cautious in the last 10 years. The worst offenders seem to be
CPD. Followed by your everyday motorist in all races, income brackets and age ranges. City or suburbs it dosen't seem to matter much. People just don't pay attention when they drive. It's scary out there.
I love it when someone runs a light and you have to hit the hooks and you get flipped-off by the idiot - as if it's my fault they drive like an assclown.
