A4 Upper Control Arm Bushings

A4 Upper Control Arm Bushings
I bought an A4 audi back in 2001 and have now been informed the upper control arm bushings are bad. The car has done 47k miles, I am wondering how long do these parts normally last and what I should get them replaced with?
Can anyone give me any ideas?

Same on my allroad.
Two things:
1) A 2001 should still be under warranty, so get new stock parts for free. That's what I did on my allroad.
2) Try asking in the A4 forum. There's a whole list of forums available under the drag-down list "Choose AudiWorld Discussion Forum" near the top of this page.
