engine computer problem, help please.
hello all. Im having problems in my 1991 audi 90 20v q. I'm not sure why but the computer keeps going into limp mode but wont show any codes. I can disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and for the next day to 2 days it will drive really nice (normal lol) with plenty of upper rpm pull. But then the throttle pedal will stiffen up (its noticable) and ill lose the upper rpm power. I'm assuming the computer is knocking back my timing and fuel, and it sure feels like it got retarded a lot accross the entire rpm. When I had my friendly Vw/Audi shop try to pull codes it didnt show any codes and whenever they tried to reset the computer with the car running it died. After the car died when resetting the computer, it was running in normal mode again for about a day. Any ideas? Could any sensors possible make this happen if they were going bad, or could it be the computer itself finally taking a crapper? Car has 246k on it so its been around. If it is the computer going are they any affordable places to find computer for this engine? Any help/ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

thanks, i very well might be in need of it. I'm going to try to trouble shoot it a bit more next week (spring break
