Problem with my power door locks on 95 Audi 90Q

Just recently my power locks have been acting up. Whenever I shut the trunk it causes all the doors to lock.

Is there something I am missing which may disable this?

Search for breaks in the trunklid wiring harness. Common problem.

So this problem is generated by a short then?

The wires get brittle over time and can short each other out...

...common problem. You can either splice in new wires (cheaper) or buy a new wiring harness (more expensive).
