Default Electrical gremlins - please help!!!!!!!!!

Hello - I am new to this forum, but like the helpful advice..I have a couple of problems with a 1994 cabriolet. Firstly, the electric windows do not work from the driver or passanger door, but the central button that raises and lowers all windows works fine. Any thoughts?

Also, when I use the turn indicator, all four indicators flash at the same time - very confusing for people on the road! Suggestions much appreciated....thanks kind people

Check the wires in the rubber bellows that is between the door and body. Wires have a tendency to get crimped or cut in there. Are you handy with a voltmeter or a continuity light tester? Start doing a volt check on all switches and wiring harness inside of control panel on door pull.
As for your turnsignal problem, check the relays and see if they are correct. Are you sure the turnsignal switch hasn't been tamperd with or an incorrect one has been put in? More info would help. Think about getting a Bently Manual too.

Hi - will look into getting the manual - thanks! Not sure if the turn signal has been tampered with as I have just bought the car and the indicators worked when I bough it. I have just ordered a relay for the indicators. Silly question I know, but would you know if the location for the indicator relay is under the hood or somewhere else? Yes - I will buy the manual!!! Thanks for the response.

I'm pretty sure the indicator relay is in the relay panel under the steering column.

Hi - well guess what? This morning the electric windows all worked from both door sets of switches (did not work yesterday), lowered from the centre console, but could not be raised from the centre console (worked yesterday). Do you think it is the relay?
