suspension install quote
I was quoted by my local installer 429.00 to install my Neuspeed springs and Koni shocks. They have a great reputation, but I think that's awful high. When I questioned the quote, they gave me the oldb "well that includes alignment and adjustments". Should I go with them or have the dealer do it for the hourly rate?

Thats right on target...
B6 rear suspension takes considerably more work to uninstall and reinstall the rear springs... even more if you need to deal with the Xenon Auto leveler.
Expect to pay even more for B6 coilover install. A B5 typically runs $250-300.

My Dealer wanted $1000 I couldnt believe it. Go to page 9 and 10 and look at my post about...
installation charges and there is some good replies there. Should only be about $225 to install it. I called Greedspeed where I bought the springs and shocks and he said they only charged $225 and that those quotes for $1000 and $800 are ridiculous. I dont think the $225 included alignment but thats still alot cheaper.

Not too bad.
But no, the rear B6 suspension is easier with the proper spring compressor.
You don't have to disassemble anything like the sway bars, levelers, or anything. It just reaches, grabs the spring, and pulls it out.
Maybe I need to take a picture of mine to convince people it really is easier.
But $429 isn't too bad with the alignment, I've seen much worse.
