Paging JetJockey/A4Pilot.....

I'm excited as hell my friend. In about a week & a half you & I will be able to talk MTM shop should we everneed to compare. Yesterday I ordered MTM chip & injectors, and the clutch from Hoppen.Only difference is I went a another direction in exhaust then you & went with the new Supersprint Cat system. Will be interesting to compare how we feel with the two similar set-ups

) ok...I'm rambling. My question is....your APR snub mount. Are you getting any of this serious idle vibration & shaking that others have been experiencing?? As I am considering maybe not even replacing my OEM snub. Thank you.

What, some serious competition ! Well, well time to continue the upgrades on my car.....

There are so many things underway and guess what I'm not saying anything just yet but when time comes, you will get a full discription and pictures to see the work. To answer your question on the APR snub mount, YES, I have the vibration BUT I did not get a chance to modify the position of the snub mount within the holding cup, once this is done I think the vibration will go away. One more thing, you will see with the power you are getting, there will be a lot of slop in the tranny/snub mount and I can tell you the APR mod takes all of it away. The car only vibrates at idle and the warmer the air temperature is the less it vibrates(not as rigid as when very cold).

BTW congrats, but you're still # 2, HA, Ha(grin).

also, is this one pictured on their site or do you have pictures?

Heres the link & costs. It really is a nice well built system.......(m)

I had there cat back on my 01' 330i & it was a considerable power difference & that was with NO chip.Plus , it just looks great with 90 mm rolled tips and polished canisters.The whole system cost me $1,500.About average if you look @ MTM and others. Now you must understand the system for my 03'1.8T has litterally just come out within the last few weeks. PES ...who is a big supplier of Supersprint as of last Monday STILL did not have any specs or prices on this system. So I bypassed them & went directly to BMP who is the NA direct distributor. After you view the link you will see it consists of a piece by piece system. I have ordered everything back to part #763912. As the cat replacement(#763911) and the downpipe(#763601)are still not available in NA yet. I have been told 6-8 weeks. And I am the 1st on the list to receive those when they arrive here. Let me know if u have any more questions. looks nice indeed

I had a Supersprint on my 99 A4 and it was very very very very quiet. Even when you floored it, the sound was minimal. But I did notice a little power up top. Could've been a placebo effect though
