What are the guage options for the B6A4...vent guage like in the b5 available? or heads up displays?

Pretty limited. Some went back to A column pods but...
...it's been a debate if that'll interfere with the air bag underneath (result = permanent impression of turbo gauge on forehead - if you survive). There's a heads up display from Mach V but it looks like a nasty wart on top the dash board. It's difficult attaching gauge bases in the area to the right of the driver's A column. Some have tried dash top gauge pods but they do not match.
There's the big problem - nothing matches or looks stock. The consortium to put gauge readings on the trip computer (Tripcomp) hasn't replied to messages since June and the German competitor is likewise moribund. Doesn't work yet with our '02+ CAN bus cars anyway.
That leaves custom. I've started playing with an independent CAN bus, PIC microcontroller LED screen display but haven't worked out screen and switch placement issues (like replacing the flip down shield up by the rear view mirror, or the dash credit card tray, or above the radio, etc.).
Anybody else?
