Wheel bearing problem on my 2003 A4 3.0
Has anyone had any problems with wheel bearings on 2003 A4 models. Since my car reached 1,200km, it started making a noise in the front. It has continued to make more noise...driving me crazy. The dealer believes it's a bearing problem, but they didn't have any in stock when I went in. Will be going back when stock arrives and hopefully the problem will be solved.

Swerve the car back and forth at low speed in a parking lot....
The bearing noise should be very noticeable in one direction and not the other. The swerving causes bearing loading and unloading. If the same noise is in both directions...then I would question a bad wheel bearing diagnosis!

thanks Bob for your reply. I will try the swerving tonight. If the same noise appears, any idea what could be the problem. Essentially, it sounds like I'm driving with winter tires and every so often, there's a vibration in the gas pedal, at around 100kph.
