okay to paint lowers on lease? heh

the dealer told me it would probably be okay because the people who survey the cars are too dumb to notice (also, if it's coming out as option, they probably wont think about it when you turn it back in). I am afraid I might have a problem because I would replace the caractere bumper with the stock bumper (which is not painted) so 1/2 the car would have painted lowers! I'm probably just going to buy it at the end though.

It's OK, just read your agreement.
Most state that as long as your mods do not decrease the value of the car and meet OEM quality it's all good. And why would painted lowers decrease the value of the car?
