MTM stage 1+ 1/8th mile results
10.1597 at 67.25 mph
0.5068 reaction time
2.2781 60 ft time with the clutch slipping
6.5171 330ft time
just for comparison a 98 VR6 gti ran 10.2
it was about 85 out with high humidity and I had just driven the car there 2/3 of a tank left. it was hot.
The car has gotten much smoother since day 1 and I can only say good things about it. I have had no problems with the air on and the car having no power like someone else had stated.. but I do need to modify the MPG so it reads more accuretly

someone actually takes their car to the track.

no, more a factor or driving in this case.
he's more than 3 tenths behind by the 60' mark. that's all in how you launch, not because of a few HP difference.
that margin doubles by the 1/8th...which tells me that
A) his car makes a lot less power
B) he needs to work on shift points and/or shifting speed.
C) his car is lots heavier
i'm more inclined to go with B.

1/8 ----- 10.811
mph ----- 64.33
My car is '03 1.8T CVT. It's bone stock. My numbers are not great but that was my first time ever in track. Also, the track at 5800ft above sea level.
