2nd...although i would say it gives very minimal advantage...almost negligble.

...and if it's a HAI (hot air intake) you'll actually lose HP!

that's cos the turbo is so near the intake and heat is transferred there rite?

what if i added an FMIC, wouldn't that lower the intake air temp that goes into the engine?

You'll still get hot air in but almost any IC is going to help. I'm going to...

...instulation wrap (Thermo-Tec) the stock intake, header, turbo, part of the exhaust, and put a heat shield between all that and the stock air filter box. Just try touching the stock intake runner after you been running a while.
